The great sock mystery

Is it just me...or do everybody's socks go missing?
Where do they go? Why can I never find a pair?
We tend to buy the kids white school socks and Michael black work socks, but still they go missing.
Okay, maybe not a meaning of life question, but it sure makes my like difficult when I'm running around the house frantically searching for socks before school

My coathangers go missing too...and shoes!! Every morning I'm running around looking for shoes 
What happened to the good old days when kids could go to school  barefoot

Hahaha    I actually yonks ago found out that a sock or two was found in the washing machine - jumped over into the other part !!   Also deep inbedded in shoes, at end of bedclothes (summer ?) and in wierd places one would never thought of - yep true mystery !!

Well I have given up folding up the socks, cause I can never find a pair. I just throw all the socks and undies in a special basket and let them rummage to find it themselves LOL   That way I don't get all stressed when I have 10 socks and not one of them matches .. hehe
