A question about texture paste: How do you stamp into it? I tried and just ended up with a big mess? What's the secret please  I've seen such clear stamping results on other people's work.....how?? |

If you are using a foam stamp you have to make sure it is wet so that it comes out easily and leaves a good impression. If you are using a rubber or acrylic stamp it is good to stamp it in versamark ink first. Hope that helps  |

Thank you! I used the Versamark and it was a success The project is coming along nicely now  Is it ok to have more than 3 photos? |

The impression isn't fabulous and I wasn't too thrilled. Never mind - it's a learning curve! I may never use texture paste again though - it's driving me insane! LMAO (*insane cackle*) |

Before I found out the tip about using Versamark, I managed to clog up 5 different stamps with the texture paste....spent 2 hours this morning cleaning the stamps!!! The Versamark worked well, and I got a better result when I didn't pile the texture paste on in great dollops!! Less is more |

This round is doing my head in : .... it's harder then I thought it would be !!!!  I love texture paste but just can't seem it get it to do what I want.. stupid thing! ha ha think i'll put my thinking cap back on and start again!!!! |

It's not called a challenge for nothing!! I've finally finished my texture paste project...phew! Thank goodness! Now it's onto the alcohol inks. |

OK - done ....phew....I uploaded my pic yesterday but it's not up in the gallery yet....did it get lost (Or maybe it just wasn't worthy..... that's also a possibility ) I think I'm going to be happier with alcohol inks. Back to work |
