This month I got to use the gorgeous Paper Trunk Maybe Baby papers and I used the scraps to create this card.

These papers are not Christmas papers and I think that all non christmassy papers would work well with this type of card.

Here is the card...

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Bazzil Craft Cardstock to 20cm x 15cm.. scored and folded at 10cm

Paper Trunk Maybe Baby - Love Ya (brown section) measures 12.5cm x 9.5cm. Adhere to the top end of the card leaving a small gap of kraft cardstock showing.

Paper Trunk Maybe Baby - Kisses (pink side) measures 11.5cm x 8.5cm. Ink the edges with Colorbox Dark Brown Chalk Ink and adhere this to the brown section leaving a similar gap to form a mat.

Tree measures 7.5cm long and 10.5cm high. If the paper is double sided you only need to use 3 sheets and you can cut these all at once. I have used Paper Trunk Maybe Baby - Love Ya, Kisses and Hugs. Eyeball how high you want each section. I have cut 5 pieces and have made one much smaller than the others for a bit of variety. Adhere these down once you have sorted the designs you want to use.

To make the pot at the bottom, cut a piece of Love Ya to measurements 2.3cm for the bottom and 3.4cm for the top. Just cut on the angle from bottom to the top section. Ink this with the same colorbox chalk ink and wrap a piece of twine around the pot into a bow.

Put the word MERRY underneath the matting and outline with Zebra Antique Gel Pen - Brown.

Outline the card with faux stitching using the same brown Antique Gel Pen.

I adhered some pom pom ribbon onto the top edges of the tiers.

Hope you like Smiley

You can just ruffle up some thin ribbon and use that..
Or some ribbon with glitter on it..
Or beads/sequins

Well, I'm done.  Now have 12 cards completed.  Grin Grin Grin
Is anyone else doing the challenge?
Now I am looking forward to the 5th card - won't take me as long to get to it I promise.
I have posted pics to the gallery, just waiting for them to appear.  Have a sneak peek on my blog if you like.
