I love the look of masking tape on a layout - especially for journalling, just ripped off the roll and stuck down on your page. I decided to try a few other techniques using it.
Please be warned that masking tape is not acid free, and if you want to preserve your photos, don't put it near the photos themselves. I have actually wrapped mine around the photo, I'm not really into the acid free thing. These photos are available anytime I want and if I want to change them down the track I can just print out some more

I also think there is something that makes me want them to end up like those photos you see in your great grandma's album, where they have used masking tape to stick them down with and you get that yellowy look on the edges.. maybe just me, but I love that look LOL!

Here is a closeup of how I have framed the photos with the masking tape and then added some extra doodling around the edges.

And here I have wrapped masking tape around some cardstock to create some journaling strips.

The gorgeous Sassafras Lass papers were just soooo easy to use, as everything co ordinates beautifully and the embellishments are so fun!
